Our story

We are two Melbourne guys with a huge ambition to change the face of social media. It seems all relationship sites/apps rely on the superficiality of physical appearance, and we think that's wrong! 

In 2014 we had a beta version built, and due to some unforeseen circumstances with development, we had to start from scratch.

BUT...

the attention we received in the short time the app was on iTunes was enough to make us keep going!

The Team

Tim McDonald and Joshua Giuliani comprise the Mingla team.  With over 15 years of media and publishing experience in the Australian market, this entrepreneurial duo are always thinking of how to do things better.
 
As a Millennial,

Josh

has his finger on the social media pulse and knows what it takes to get things done in today's fast-paced business world.  Josh has his own website building business and , among other things, is a DJ and podcaster.
 
Originally hailing from the San Francisco bay area,

Tim

is a Gen X'er who has been living and working in Australia for the past 20 years.  A novelist, podcaster and fellow entrepreneur, Tim also has a private copywriting business as the creative co-founder of Mingla.
 

Ingenious Softworks

is the winner of the Innovative Company of the Year for 2014 as judged by CUTI, one of Latin America's oldest and most respected tech associations. With a client base including the likes of Microsoft, Anttel Communications and Scotiabank, Ingenious Softworks is well poised to develop Mingla as the most excitingly interactive relationship app to date.
