Let's Get Sydney Mr. Leather to Chicago to compete at

International Mr Leather 2016

SydMrWinner

Sydney Leather Pride Association

Tim won the title of Sydney Mr Leather and is now a spokesman for the leather, kink and fetish community representing SLPA. He aims to attend events as Sydney Mr  Leather in Chicago in May representing Australia’s community and raising awareness for chosen LGBTI causes.

International Mr Leather (IML)

IML is an international conference and contest of  Leathermen held annually in May since 1979 in Chicago. It attracts about 80 competitors from around the world and so to get into the top 20 is a great honour. The conference is a multi-day event offering various shared interest events, such as speakers, socials, themed dance parties and a leather market .

The IML competition is internationally recognized. Contestants must either be a winner of a lower level competition of a bar, local or regional leather contest or be sponsored by a leather-related bar, business, club, or organization. Community involvement and a history of LGBTIQ fundraising and commitment to causes is a great benefit to the competitors when being interviewed.

#HowHard Project

I would like to thank #HowHard for their sponsorship and support and look forward to being involved in their projects. ACON (formerly AIDS Council Of NSW) was internationally recognised as having the most effective campaigns curbing HIV transmission rates during the AIDS epidemic. They continue to grow offering all kinds of health support to the LGBTI community. I’ve been proudly affiliated with ACON in some capacity since I came out in the early 90’s and now as Sydney Mr Leather have aligned myself with the #HowHard Project. www.howhard.com.au
HowHard is a run by the sexually adventurous Men’s (SAM) project at ACON and provides relevant information, sex packs and safer party lifestyle kits, rapid testing centres, and support contacts for men who play hard and play often.
