TO ALL PEOPLE WHO DONATED AND THOSE OF YOU WHOM HAVE SHARED OUR FUND!
The family of Karlie and Khandalyce would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your generous donations and for sharing our campaign so publicly. With your help this campaign was brought to peoples attention and we have now been offered some assistance from local government with costs and together with the funds we have raised through this campaign we should now have enough to bring our angels home and give the funeral and goodbyes they deserve! All funds will be used to lay these angels to rest, provide them with a beautiful service and to cover the costs of the memorials, headstones and other funeral related costs.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING OUR ANGELS HOME XXX
on the 21st of October 2015 our family was alerted to the devastating news that our beloved Karlie Jade Stevenson and her young daughter Khandalyce Pearce, both of whom had been missing since 2009, had been confirmed by DNA to be the bodies known only as the Belangalo Angel and the Little Wynarka suitcase Angel.
Karlie whose remains were located in the Belangalo state forest in NSW August of 2010. Until this morning, her remains had remained unidentified in a murder case dubbed the Belangalo Angel. Karlie's identity was found through the remains of her daughter Khandalyce being identified by police.
Khandalyce's remains were located on the 15th July 2015 in a suitcase dumped on the side of the road in Wynaraka, a small SA town, who until this morning was only known as the "little girl in the suitcase / the Wynarka Angel".
Karlie and Khandalyce remains were located 5 years and 1300km apart. With family having spent the last 6 years desperately trying to locate their whereabouts.
Our family is asking for assistance to help us raise the funds to bring Karlie and Khandalyce's remains home to Alice Springs so that they can be reunited and laid to rest together with family.
Absolutely any help people can provide to help us to bring them home to their family for the funeral they deserve and the closure the family has waited for after a gruelling 6 years would be greatly appreciated.
Help us finally bring them home and lay them to rest in peace.
